Role of the Community Engagement Coordinator

The primary responsibility of the Community Engagement Coordinator is to actively connect with and educate the community regarding our mental health therapies, substance use treatments, and various support services available for individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute outreach initiatives by organizing virtual workshops, events, and educational programs to raise community awareness about our Behavioral Health Division's services.
  • Create informative content, including press releases, announcements, and newsletters to keep internal staff and the public informed about our projects and services.
  • Facilitate supportive group programs under clinical supervision when applicable.
  • Prepare and submit reports, presentations, and proposals for relevant projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, public health, or a related field, along with a Marketing or Communications degree.
  • Experience utilizing creative platforms for community engagement, such as design, art, photography, or video.
  • Proven ability to produce materials for diverse audiences, including reports, presentations, and articles.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or behavioral health sector.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset in all interactions and project executions.
