Role of the Community Engagement Coordinator

The primary function of the Community Engagement Coordinator in CSC's Behavioral Health Division is to actively connect and educate the community regarding our mental health therapies, substance use treatments, and various support services available for individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute outreach initiatives by organizing virtual workshops, events, and educational programs to raise community awareness about our behavioral health services.
  • Create informative content, including press releases, announcements, and newsletters to keep internal staff and the public informed about our projects and services.
  • Facilitate supportive group programs under appropriate supervision.
  • Prepare and submit reports, presentations, and proposals for relevant projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, public health, or a related field, along with experience in marketing or communications.
  • Proficiency in utilizing creative platforms for community engagement, such as design, art, photography, or video.
  • Experience in producing materials for diverse audiences, including reports, presentations, and blogs.
  • Knowledgeable about the healthcare or behavioral health sector.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships and contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Customer service-oriented approach in all interactions and project executions.
