Senior Director of Technology - Public Sector

We are in search of a Senior Director of Technology - Public Sector to enhance our capabilities in supporting various governmental entities.

Role Overview:

The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in our Public Sector division, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. This position entails working closely with senior representatives from Federal and State, Local, and Education sectors to provide strategic insights on technology advancements and to devise IT solutions that effectively address their operational challenges. Additionally, this leader will be crucial in equipping our Sales and Client Executives with the necessary knowledge about our extensive service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior client stakeholders to deliver strategic technology insights and guidance.
  • Design and implement innovative IT solutions tailored to meet clients' specific operational needs.
  • Facilitate training and enablement sessions for Sales and Client Executives regarding NTT DATA's service offerings.
  • Effectively communicate technical capabilities and industry trends to senior executives in various settings.
  • Contribute thought leadership articles to industry publications, demonstrating NTT DATA's expertise.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to refine NTT DATA's approach.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the technology sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • 5+ years of recent experience collaborating with Public Sector clients, including Federal Health & Civilian Agencies and State, Local, and Education entities.
  • 5+ years of experience in legacy modernization solutions within Federal Health & Civilian Agencies and/or SLED.
  • 5+ years of consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their applications within the Public Sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to author thought leadership pieces for industry publications.
  • Experience in training and mentoring Sales and Client Executives on technology solutions.
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and large groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Must reside near a major airport and be willing to travel up to 50%.
  • Preference for candidates located in the Chicago or DC area.
