Job Responsibilities

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient flow through triage, screening, and preparation for examinations.
  • Providing education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting test results.
  • Administering medications as per physician directives.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within six months of hire.
  • NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
