Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are in search of an ER Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will deliver clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive top-notch, efficient care in a high-acuity environment. Our team is dedicated to supporting one another and is looking for a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient flow of patients, including triage, screening, and preparation for examinations.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
  • Maintain and review patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications as per physician orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
