Job Responsibilities

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will deliver clinical expertise to guarantee that all patients receive exceptional care in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient flow, including triage, screening, and preparation for examinations.
  • Providing instructions to patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
  • Maintaining and updating patient records, including test results.
  • Administering medications as per physician directives.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with an active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
