Key ResponsibilitiesAs an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Managing patient flow, including triage, screening, and preparation for examinations.
- Providing education to patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintaining and updating patient records, including test results.
- Administering medications as per physician directives.
- Must possess a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Experience in an acute care environment is highly preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within six months of hire.
- NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
