Job Responsibilities

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing patient flow efficiently, including triage, screening, and preparation for examinations.
  • Providing comprehensive nursing care and educating patients and families about treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating them with test results.
  • Administering medications as per physician directives.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within six months of hire.
  • NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
