We are looking for a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department to ensure the delivery of high-quality and efficient patient care. If you are passionate about patient care, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced environment, providing clinical expertise to ensure optimal patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient flow through triage, screening, and preparation for examinations.
  • Educating patients and families on medication and treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting test results.
  • Administering medications as per physician directives.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within six months of hire.
  • NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
