KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees recruitment processes including managing applicant tracking, job advertisements, and maintaining candidate records.
  • Facilitates job postings and manages internal transfer lists. Documents responses for each job vacancy.
  • Issues confirmation letters for employment.
  • Conducts orientation sessions for new hires, addressing inquiries and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly.
  • Creates identification badges for new employees and replacements as needed.
  • Conducts investigations into workplace issues and determines appropriate disciplinary actions, preparing necessary documentation.
  • Assesses eligibility for leave programs and completes required state forms, communicating with employees as necessary.
  • Addresses inquiries related to specific provisions of employment agreements.
  • Calculates and adjusts employee benefits based on various employment changes.
  • Prepares forms for employee status changes, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Maintains accurate HR information systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Organizes service recognition awards for employees.
  • Delivers training sessions on Human Resources topics at designated locations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of collective bargaining agreement administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to interpret laws and regulations, providing clear guidance to management.
  • Experience handling confidential information in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in HR-related software and systems.
