Land Acquisition Manager

As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will work closely with our industry-leading home building team to identify and secure prime land purchase locations for our communities.

You will be responsible for negotiating land acquisitions, performing sophisticated land use and financial analysis, and negotiating purchase agreements.

Additionally, you will participate in due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental, utility system, and title analysis.

Our ideal candidate will be deal-oriented and have a strong understanding of the local land market in the current real estate climate.

They will be able to demonstrate an understanding of strategies to take advantage of current trends and adjust acquisition efforts accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate timing for proposed development analysis
  • Understand and oversee site development, including local zoning, planning, and pricing
  • Work with marketing team members to monitor competitive local home building and prices
  • Represent NVR in the local community

Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of successful land acquisition experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Skilled in land deal structuring
  • Background in land planning, zoning, law, and real estate
