About the Role

The Director of Talent Acquisition will play a key role in shaping the future of BetMGM by informing and driving the company's candidate-centric talent acquisition strategy. This role will manage a diverse range of functions, including employer brand marketing and talent attraction, strategic talent sourcing, global mobility, contingent workforce management, and recruitment.

Responsibilities
  • Inform and drive BetMGM's forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy that aligns with organizational goals and achieves excellence across all areas.
  • Partner with executive and senior leadership, hiring teams, and HR business partners to deeply understand their talent needs and offer strategic counsel on recruitment practices and plans.
  • Steer the talent acquisition function, overseeing day-to-day operations, setting clear performance goals, resolving escalations, and fostering development and growth within the team.
  • Champion the development and implementation of innovative marketing plans and campaigns to attract top talent in a competitive landscape.
  • Lead the development and delivery of recruitment metrics and reports to senior leadership.
  • Lead the administration and optimization of talent acquisition tools and processes to ensure effective management of workflows and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the selection and allocation of budget for employer brand marketing, vendor partnerships, and sourcing and recruiting tools.
  • Oversee end-to-end processes for contingent staffing, including vendor management, contract negotiations, and strategic counsel to hiring teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in recruitment, talent attraction, and marketing.
Essential Functions

The successful candidate must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including at least 5 years in a leadership role and at least 2 years of direct experience managing other managers.
  • Demonstrated success in managing executive searches and high-level recruitment.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and enhancing exceptional candidate experiences.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities with experience coaching and developing recruitment teams to achieve high-performance.
  • Experience in developing and managing employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top talent and enhance organizational reputation.
  • Ability to think strategically and align talent acquisition efforts with organizational goals, including experience in workforce planning, talent strategy development, and contingent workforce operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a culture of diversity and inclusion within talent acquisition processes and across the organization.
  • Proficiency with Workday Recruiting and other recruiting technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of current recruitment practices and applicable regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
