We are currently in search of a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for part-time, project-based roles. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing and verifying the accuracy of payroll operations, which are vital to our financial and human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process payroll for all personnel in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll documentation, including new hires, terminations, and payroll status changes.
  • Address payroll discrepancies and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
  • Generate and submit payroll reports for management review.
  • Work collaboratively with HR and finance departments to enhance payroll procedures.
  • Safeguard documentation and confidentiality of payroll information.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a comparable position.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
