Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Operations to join our team at RES. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic decision-making and outcomes on our highest priority projects and initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage centralized repository of processes and improve processes to minimize complexities and optimize to promote effective operations.
  • Run organizational planning and business rhythm processes in alignment with all other functions to develop quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs), resource and capital plans, and QBRs.
  • Gather and analyze data, formulate, and test hypotheses, synthesize findings, provide strategic insights, develop go-forward plans, and help drive and translate recommendations into results.
  • Take ownership in solving some of the company's most critical strategic problems, implementing new initiatives, and supporting operations teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand problems and develop critical insights.
  • Develop, review, re-define, and implement the business strategy for business operations departments.
  • Develop and review budgets, staffing plans, organization, and hiring/development of employees across different positions.
  • Understand the financial media business and offer expertise and substantial experience in oversight of Operations Management.
  • Flexible regarding changing and conflicting priorities, able to easily shift gears in terms of behavior and attitude in response to ambiguity and the needs of the situation.
  • Operate Company aligned vehicle for project site visits and business trips.
  • Attend work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  • Comply with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.

    • Exceptional judgment, strategic problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Understanding of practices, theories, technologies, and policies involved in operations management, business, and finance.
    • Ability to go beyond the recommendation to execution; willingness to get into the details and do what it takes to 'get it done'.
    • Strong stakeholder and project management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with senior management and cross-functional teams.
    • Track record of being conscientious, reliable, and a self-starter.

Physical Requirements and Environment
