Director of Rehabilitation Department

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Services Leader to join our team at South East Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). This role offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with administrative leadership skills, driving excellent patient outcomes and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or speech-language pathology, with demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing clinical guidance and oversight to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans, collaborating with referring providers and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure seamless communication among team members, facilitating timely care conferences and rounding to guarantee patient safety and satisfaction.
- Manage departmental budgets, overseeing daily operations and resource allocation to drive efficiency and quality improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop support staff, interns, and students, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Masters' degree (required) or doctorate degree (preferred) in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification and valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- At least two years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of leadership and innovation.
