Job Summary

The successful candidate will serve as the chief administrative manager of the on-site health services department. This role is accountable for ensuring that contract services are delivered effectively and that VitalCore Health Strategies remains compliant with all aspects of the client contract. Additionally, the Health Services Director will be responsible for recruiting and hiring personnel, constructing and supervising annual operational plans, and maintaining collaborative relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the healthcare delivery system and coordinate activities within the facility.
  2. Oversee the budget and financial performance of the site, submitting timely and accurate reports to supervisors and/or corporate offices.
  3. Develop and/or supervise facility operational plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  4. Direct assigned staff, facilitating recruitment efforts, interview processes, and scheduling management.
  5. Coordinate the Medical Audit Committee and facilitate monthly meetings.
  6. Maintain compliance with ACA and NCCHC standards, as well as VitalCore clinical services and administrative policies.
  7. Negotiate contracts for external services when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
  • Minimum two years of management experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance.
  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Salary Information
