We are seeking a full-time Lead Marketing Strategist (LMS).

This role is proactive in supporting business development efforts and collaborating with various teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and communications aimed at achieving financial and market leadership objectives.

The LMS will craft winning proposals and engaging presentations.

Working closely with technical project managers, the LMS will develop persuasive messaging that distinguishes our firm and collaborate with key business development leaders to implement account strategies.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an enthusiastic team player, capable of effective communication, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with Business Center (BC) leadership to align with Stantec's corporate and regional objectives for revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership in targeted markets.

Support Account Managers in achieving their goals by developing and maintaining an up-to-date Client Plan, including action items, positioning milestones, and team responsibilities.

Assist business developers in creating Capture Plans that outline pursuit schedules, research needs, action items for positioning, strategic partnerships, and responsibilities.

Partner with the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM)/Marketing Team Lead (MTL) and BC leadership to identify key clients and projects to target each operating year.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Stantec's markets, clients, capabilities, staff, and primary competitors to support pursuit development as outlined in marketing and business development plans.

Provide marketing support for all aspects of the proposal process, including workflow coordination, Marketing Go/No Go decisions, resource requirements, and technical content needs.

Prepare impactful proposals, presentations, and communications that align with the Stantec brand.
Serve as a quality control resource during the preparation and review of proposal materials developed by the marketing team.
Facilitate debrief meetings following project wins/losses.
Monitor opportunity-related websites and publications for project opportunities and distribute as appropriate.
Represent Stantec's leadership team at key business and community events.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5-8 years in a marketing role within a medium to large organization.

Other Requirements:
Strong understanding of marketing and business development best practices.
Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
Ability to balance conflicting priorities effectively.
Commitment to client service and teamwork.
Proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong presentation skills in both small and large group settings.
Effective communication with senior management, peers, and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Acknowledgment that ongoing training may involve professional development courses during evenings or weekends.
