OMJ|CC is seeking a Lead Sales Strategist:
The Lead Sales Strategist plays a crucial role in cultivating sales opportunities with prospective clients within a designated market segment.

This position requires collaboration with team members and internal resources to effectively cross-sell various products and services.

The individual will be tasked with creating and executing a personalized sales strategy, holding direct responsibility for achieving annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a strategic sales development plan aimed at acquiring new business clients.
  • Establish and nurture a growing portfolio of clients each year.
  • Identify potential opportunities to cross-sell diverse coverage options to current clients.
  • Maintain a robust level of sales activity through self-initiated efforts to meet production objectives.
  • Generate leads, identify key decision-makers, and conduct outreach to secure meetings and service presentations.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of prospective clients' requirements and propose suitable and competitive coverage options.
  • Tailor insurance solutions to meet client needs, clearly articulating the features, benefits, and limitations of various policies.
  • Develop and apply effective presentation and closing techniques to secure new business.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure service delivery meets expectations and provide consultative support for complex risk challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic records of all prospecting activities utilizing CRM software.
  • Cultivate a personal network of contacts for long-term business development through professional referrals and community engagement.
  • Attend industry-related events, seminars, and workshops to stay updated on market trends and new offerings.
  • Mentor junior sales team members and provide guidance.
  • Participate in essential Business Development Team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the insurance brokerage sector or a comparable mix of education and experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success with an established client portfolio.
  • Demonstrated expertise in client retention and contributing to the growth of an existing client base.
  • Background in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Personal Lines, or Retirement Planning.
