Job Overview

As a Senior Advisor in the Fair Lending Analytics and Modeling division, you will be instrumental in guiding the organization's strategic initiatives through insightful data analysis and recommendations. Your contributions will be vital in steering quantitative analytical projects and collaborating with various business units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage your daily tasks while working with a dedicated team to achieve the following:

  • Act as a trusted consultant to senior management, providing insights and recommendations derived from data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Lead ongoing enhancement initiatives to improve analytical capabilities and broaden the application of analytics throughout the organization.
  • Examine traditional and AI/machine learning models for potential algorithmic bias.
  • Conduct statistical analyses related to fair lending to identify and assess associated risks.
  • Offer suggestions for adjustments to statistical models that align with fair lending goals.
  • Determine business requirements for analytical support, fair lending assessments, and quantitative evaluations.
  • Collect and report on enterprise-wide data essential for fair lending assessments, data availability, and quality evaluation.
  • Assess policy modifications and analytical methodologies.
  • Extract and analyze data using relevant software, ensuring data integrity.
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Evaluate new products and pricing model changes for fair lending impacts.
  • Identify special monitoring needs based on routine data evaluations.
  • Support the team in fair lending risk assessments and compliance program reviews.
  • Implement best practices in research and fair lending evaluations to enhance model, product, and policy development.
  • Collaborate with the team to create data visualizations, technical documentation, and presentations to convey ideas and solutions to business partners and regulators.
QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years in data analytics and reporting.
  • Proficient in statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, including hypothesis development, experimental design, and regression modeling.
  • Experienced in programming with relevant software such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for analysis and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to analyze data to uncover trends and relationships.
  • Capable of gathering precise information to clarify concepts and address critical inquiries.
  • Collaborative team-oriented individual.
  • Adept at managing project plans and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively across various business units.
  • Ability to streamline and validate analytical processes for accuracy.

Preferred Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Background in Fair Lending analytics and reporting.
  • Prior experience within a financial institution or regulatory body.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with AWS SageMaker for building and deploying machine learning solutions.
  • Experience using AWS Redshift for data connections.
