About Lewis & Ellis, Inc.: As a leading national actuarial and insurance consulting firm, we are expanding our risk management consulting division. We are in search of skilled professionals who are eager to make a significant impact, not only for our clients but also by becoming a pivotal leader within our risk management consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing client relationships from acquired risk management firms.
- Develop and expand our risk management services throughout the United States.
- Lead, sell, and deliver consulting services on a fee-basis to our clients.
About the Risk Management Practice: Our practice focuses on various aspects of risk management, including but not limited to managing risk renewals, conducting insurance analysis projects, and developing captive insurance solutions. We serve multiple industries such as banking and financial services, real estate, manufacturing, life sciences, and high technology. Our revenue model is strictly fee-based, avoiding commission structures.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of insurance policy terms and conditions, particularly in the property and casualty domain.
- Strong ambition to learn and enhance our risk management practice.
- Experience in insurance and/or risk management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with complex risk financing strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills.
- Proficient presentation abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to tasks.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
Language Proficiency:
Candidates must be able to read and write reports, business correspondence, and technical documentation. They should also be capable of effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from clients and colleagues.
Mathematical and Analytical Skills:
A strong aptitude for mathematics and analytical thinking is essential.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to address practical problems and navigate a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
Physical Demands:
The role requires regular use of hands for tasks, as well as the ability to sit, stand, and walk as needed.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, and reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
