About Lewis & Ellis, Inc.: As a leading nationwide actuarial and insurance consulting firm, we are expanding our risk management consulting services. We are looking for skilled professionals to significantly impact our clients and lead our risk management consulting division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing client relationships from acquired risk management firms.
- Develop and expand our risk management services across the U.S. market.
- Lead, market, and deliver consulting services on a fee-basis to our clients.
Practice Focus: Our risk management practice encompasses various areas, including managing risk renewals, conducting insurance analysis projects, and overseeing captive insurance arrangements. We cater to diverse industries such as banking, real estate, manufacturing, life sciences, and technology. Our revenue model is strictly fee-based, ensuring transparency and alignment with client interests.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of insurance policy terms and conditions, especially in property and casualty.
- A strong desire to learn and enhance a risk management practice.
- Prior experience in insurance and/or risk management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with complex risk financing strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills.
- Proficient presentation abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is preferred.
Language Proficiency: Candidates should be able to read and write reports, business correspondence, and technical documents effectively. They must also be capable of presenting information clearly and responding to inquiries from clients and colleagues.
Mathematical and Reasoning Skills: A solid mathematical aptitude and analytical capabilities are essential. Candidates should be able to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions in both written and oral forms.
Physical and Work Environment: The role may require regular use of hands for various tasks, and the work environment is typically moderate in noise level. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
