In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape your daily activities while collaborating with dedicated professionals to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted consultant to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations derived from comprehensive data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Lead ongoing enhancement initiatives to improve analytical capabilities and broaden the application of analytics throughout the organization.
  • Examine traditional and AI/machine learning models for potential algorithmic bias.
  • Conduct statistical analyses related to fair lending to identify and assess associated risks.
  • Offer suggestions for adjustments to statistical models that further fair lending goals.
  • Identify organizational needs for analytical support, fair lending evaluations, and quantitative assessments.
  • Collect and report on organization-wide data essential for fair lending evaluations, data availability, and quality assessments.
  • Analyze policy modifications and analytic methodologies.
  • Extract and evaluate data using relevant software while ensuring data integrity.
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights to both expert and non-expert audiences.
  • Evaluate new products and pricing model adjustments for their implications on fair lending.
  • Identify special monitoring requirements based on routine data evaluations.
  • Support the team in fair lending risk evaluations and compliance program assessments.
  • Implement best practices in research and fair lending evaluations to model, product, and policy development.
  • Collaborate with the team to create data visualizations, technical documentation, and accessible presentation materials to convey ideas and solutions to business partners, management, and regulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years in data analytics and reporting.
  • Proficiency in statistical methodologies and machine learning algorithms, including hypothesis development, experimental design, and execution of linear and logistic regression models, along with other advanced techniques.
  • Proficient in programming, including coding, debugging, and validating using tools such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • Experienced in documentation and database reporting for analytical purposes, data discovery, and informed decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends or relationships that inform conclusions.
  • Skilled in gathering accurate information to clarify concepts and address critical inquiries.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Adept at managing project timelines, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with various business units.
  • Capability to streamline, validate, and test analytical processes to guarantee accuracy and consistency.

Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Background in Fair Lending analytics and reporting.
  • Prior experience within a financial institution or regulatory body.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with non-technical stakeholders such as legal and compliance professionals.
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience utilizing AWS SageMaker for developing, tuning, and deploying machine learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with AWS Redshift data connections.
