Job Summary

Cathay Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Branch Manager to lead our commercial banking team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including loans, deposits, and other banking services
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and mentor a team of banking professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
    • Coach and counsel staff to achieve individual and team goals
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, service, and administrative functions
    • Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
    • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, with a proven track record of business development and leadership
    • College degree in business or finance, or equivalent experience
    • Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, banking regulations, and industry trends
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
