Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Used Trucks Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and generating sales, cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of used trucks and pricing
  • Review inventory on a daily basis
  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business
  • Meet or exceed new business sales goals
  • Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow-up appointments with decision-makers
  • Prepare and deliver proposals/presentations to customers and key decision-makers
  • Prepare and draft sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner
  • Check the credit of potential customers
  • Introduce customers and prospective customers to VVG's financing department
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly
  • Provide and generate all documents related to credit approval
  • Ensure trucks are ready, repaired, clean, and presentable for purchasing customers

Requirements

  • Presents and communicates in a professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with good time management skills
  • Proven analytical/problem-solving skills for the customer and company
  • Computer proficiency
  • Previous sales experience in the trucking industry
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Compensation and Benefits

  • $16.30-$18.50/hour depending on skills and experience + Commission
