Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Used Trucks Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting and generating sales, cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of used trucks and pricing
  • Review inventory on a daily basis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Conduct prospecting activities to secure appointments with decision-makers and prepare compelling proposals and presentations
  • Check the credit of potential customers and introduce them to our financing department
  • Stay current on market behavior and competitive trends to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers
  • Generate all necessary documents related to credit approval and ensure that trucks are ready, repaired, clean, and presentable for purchasing customers

Requirements:

  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be organized with good time management skills
  • Possesses proven analytical/problem-solving skills for the customer and company
  • Computer proficiency
  • Previous sales experience in the trucking industry
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Possesses strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $16.30-$18.50/hour depending on skills and experience + Commission
