Job Title: Wound Care Specialist - RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and integrating a patient-centered approach to skin health and wound care. They will work collaboratively with nursing center management to develop and implement effective wound management programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and integrate a fully developed Skin Health and Wound Management Program in collaboration with nursing center management.
  • Support central supply by serving as a clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products.
  • Oversee durable medical equipment related to the prevention and management of wounds.

Requirements:
  • Must possess a RN license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval)
  • Must complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire
  • Commitment to attend monthly support calls is required
  • Must have national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or be committed to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Clinical experience in a skilled nursing setting is strongly preferred
  • Discharge planning experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with clinical charting, incident reporting, and investigation response is required
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $42-$45 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
