We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Pet Care Specialist to join our team at Destination Pet LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry guests.

Job Overview

This is an entry-level position that requires a passion for animal welfare and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Pet Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and happiness of our pet guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitize and disinfect pet enclosures and general boarding areas
  • Provide clean bedding and fresh water to each pet guest
  • Maintain accurate records of consumption and elimination of each pet guest
  • Monitor pets for safety and well-being throughout the day
  • Perform daily laundry of pet bedding and towels
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior animal care experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
