In the capacity of a Water Resources Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing project and task management, leading intricate hydraulic and hydrologic modeling efforts; managing stormwater collection systems modeling and design; overseeing the creation of design calculations and technical documentation; and directing the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for various hydraulic structures such as detention facilities, storm drains, and flood control systems.
  • Coordinating the efforts of single or multidisciplinary teams throughout the project's lifecycle, from inception to completion.
  • Being accountable for all facets of complex small to medium projects or routine large-scale projects.
  • Managing and coordinating multiple small to medium projects simultaneously.
  • Establishing and nurturing client relationships, participating in marketing, contractual, design, and production discussions.
  • Facilitating work sessions for deliverable development in collaboration with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating staffing and workload throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Monitoring financial aspects of projects, adjusting team efforts to ensure work remains within agreed budget and schedule parameters.
  • Collaborating with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project evaluations.
  • Implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • PMP certification.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project (experience with Access is a plus).
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
