Position Overview:
Leverage your technical acumen at LSPI to optimize Flow Improver performance for both internal stakeholders and external clients. This role, reporting to the Manager of Engineering & Technical Services, encompasses a variety of responsibilities that extend beyond the outlined duties.Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in extensive training initiatives to master Flow Improver Technology and elevate technical expertise.
- Provide specialized insights on the application of Flow Improver products within pipeline operations and extend technical support to the sales team.
- Employ hydraulic modeling to bolster marketing strategies and offer valuable insights into customer pipeline systems.
- Deliver consultancy services to LSPI and its clients regarding flow improver technology and the efficient utilization of products and services.
- Utilize LSPI's proprietary software for pipeline modeling and performance forecasting in customer pipelines.
- Supervise LSPI's modeling tools to ensure accuracy and user-friendliness, collaborating with Information Systems staff for enhancements.
- Develop expertise in multi-phase flow applications and provide recommendations on optimal Flow Improver product usage.
- Analyze field test data to continuously refine performance prediction equations for various LSPI products.
- Serve as a technical resource on Flow Improver expertise to resolve technical challenges for both internal and external clients.
- Train and mentor new LSPI engineers, including delivering foundational hydraulic training.
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives to fulfill both internal and external customer requirements as well as ISO quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Customer-focused approach, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Effective multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in software applications including MS Office, Excel, Word, and Access.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong collaborative abilities.
- Cross-functional expertise encompassing management, field operations, manufacturing, and supplier relations.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline hydraulics.
- Advanced understanding of fluid mechanics is preferred.
- Experience with Emerson PLO is a plus.
