Position Overview
As a key player at HDR, the Water Resources Project Manager will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued. This role is essential in addressing the challenges faced in water resource management and ensuring our projects positively impact communities globally.

Key Responsibilities
In the capacity of Water Resources Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing project management and directing complex hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tasks.
  • Leading the design and modeling of stormwater collection systems, including the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for various hydraulic structures.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
  • Managing multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Facilitating work sessions for the development of deliverables in collaboration with staff and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project staffing and workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Tracking financial aspects of projects and adjusting team efforts to adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Engaging with leadership for regular project reviews and implementing quality assurance/quality control procedures.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • PMP certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; experience with Access is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
