Role Summary: We are in search of a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to become a part of our team. This position entails engaging with prospective clients through field interactions, cultivating robust relationships, and propelling sales of our NGS offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in life sciences and have experience in next-generation sequencing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field visits to prospective clients, including research institutions, universities, and biotechnology firms.
- Identify new business prospects and generate leads through networking and field interactions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to comprehend their requirements and deliver customized NGS solutions.
- Foster leads by maintaining consistent communication and providing pertinent information regarding our services.
- Evaluate prospects by understanding their needs, budget, and timeline to ensure alignment with our offerings.
- Follow up with prospects to advance them through the sales process and finalize agreements.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to remain updated on industry trends and pinpoint growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to formulate effective sales strategies.
- Provide insights and feedback from the field to enhance our services and customer experience.
- Meet and surpass sales objectives and targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in sales or business development within the biotech or life sciences sector.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and field visits.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Adaptability to evolving market conditions and client requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of next-generation sequencing technologies and their applications.
