Position Overview:
Gables Search Group is seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Specialist to join our client's dynamic sales team in the East Region. This role is pivotal in fostering business expansion in the field of rheology methodologies across the designated territory. While the ideal candidate will be located near a major city, other locations within the territory will also be considered.

Compensation:
The base salary for this role ranges from $84,000 to $90,000 annually, contingent upon experience in capital equipment sales, with a preference for candidates with relevant industry expertise. The commission structure is uncapped, providing monthly payouts from the outset, along with bonuses for achieving and surpassing sales targets. Additional benefits include a monthly car/mileage reimbursement, comprehensive health benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, and a significant anniversary bonus every five years. There is also a potential sign-on bonus available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships while efficiently managing existing accounts.
  • Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, production managers, and technical staff.
  • Assess potential opportunities, create proposals, and finalize sales agreements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, particularly in analytical instruments or rheometers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, with an expected overnight travel rate of 50-60%.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
