Position Overview:As an integral part of the Facilities and Plant Engineering (F&PE) team, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of Facilities Engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise corporate capital, operational, and government-funded project timelines and financial plans using Maximo.
  • Direct the design and provide assistance for construction efforts utilizing CAD software tools such as MicroStation and Project Wise.
  • Collaborate with other engineering specialties, internal stakeholders, and A&E firms to ensure projects are economical, adhere to budget constraints, and fulfill design specifications.
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), cost projections, and financial plans.
  • Create and revise project timelines.
  • Generate reports, drawings, and specifications for various initiatives.
  • Make independent recommendations and design choices.
  • Conduct technical evaluations for design and construction documentation.
  • Identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Manage alterations in project scope.
  • Assess utility systems' capacity and demand, planning for future growth requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Facilities and Maintenance team.
  • Coordinate with internal parties for funding requests that align with program objectives.
  • Recognize project risks and implement actions to minimize impacts.
  • Lead or assist in studies for current or upcoming programs/projects.
  • Deliver presentations to clients and project teams as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Experience in Facilities Engineering and/or HVAC
Proficiency in Design Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, REVIT2, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

Lockheed Martin Facilities Engineering experience
Knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling
Expertise in HVAC systems design
Experience with Building Management Systems
Prior experience in a production setting

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; applicants must be US Citizens to be considered.

Clearance Level: Secret

Remote Telework:

The selected candidate will have a combination of remote and onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Specific weekly schedule to be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports various work schedules offering flexibility. Some schedules span 40 hours over five days, while others are condensed, providing extra time off in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Role: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off each week.
