Key Responsibilities- Design and Engineering: Design facilities and protection schemes for substation and transmission line equipment, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and quality engineering services.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to our engineering team, including reading and interpreting P&C designs, one-lines, schematics, panel drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Studies and Analysis: Perform studies on coordination, voltage drop, fault current, and insulation coordination to ensure reliable and efficient substation operations.
- Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with design disciplines, contractors, consultants, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget, providing project management support to efficiently accomplish tasks.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years' experience as a practicing engineer in the utility industry.
- Engineering Fundamentals Exam: Passed the Engineering Fundamentals Exam.
- Project Management Principles: Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Utility Industry Experience: Experience working in the utility industry, preferably in substation design and engineering.
