Role Summary:
The Healthcare Sales Representative is a professional tasked with guiding patients through the healthcare system. This role involves providing support, coaching, and ensuring that necessary services are arranged for a smooth transition home. The representative will engage with and cultivate relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior agencies, and other senior living communities. Responsibilities include delivering educational presentations, conducting needs assessments, facilitating support groups, and assisting with advanced care planning.
Essential Qualifications for Healthcare Sales Representative:
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare preferred, but not mandatory.
- Background in social work or clinical liaison is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Outlook).
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities are required.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating product offerings and services.
- Sales acumen is essential.
- Solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while remaining organized and proactive.
- Self-motivated with the capability to manage and complete multiple projects independently.
- Skilled in improvisation, multitasking, and prioritization in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining composure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
- Effective time management skills.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and sensitivity to confidential matters.
Key Responsibilities for Healthcare Sales Representative:
- Exemplify company culture and values, emphasizing safety, shared beliefs, and a feedback-oriented environment.
- Promote all service lines offered by CorsoCare and drive referral business.
- Conduct follow-ups with patients during hospitalization and post-discharge.
- Provide coaching and support to patients in developing personalized healthcare plans.
- Conduct patient needs assessments.
- Facilitate support groups.
- Deliver educational services to both patients and professionals.
- Conduct welcome and follow-up calls.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support through the healthcare help line.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Specialists to assist medical professionals.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
