About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technology Operations Specialist to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. This role will be responsible for the regular administration of fleet management, output management, and scanning software solutions.

Your Impact
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client IT administrators and personnel to ensure seamless solution deployment and support.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the client's networking environment to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize solution performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest solutions deployed within the client's environment to ensure effective administration and support.
  • Provide regular application administration for fleet management, output management, and scanning software solutions to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the client and Canon's Account Team to test and implement hardware/software solutions in the client's network environment.
  • Alert the Canon team of potential impact to timeline immediately to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform all technical support and issue resolution activities to ensure prompt and effective resolution of client issues.
  • Communicate chronic technology issues with the client and Canon Account Team to ensure timely resolution and prevent future issues.
  • Train Canon site personnel on predefined troubleshooting and remediation strategies to ensure effective issue resolution.
Customer Service
  • Apply core customer service excellence approaches consistently to generate healthy customer relationships representing Canon.
  • Foster customer relationships through listening and learning channels such as discovery conversations, issue management and resolution processes, and regular check-ins to ensure resolution is satisfactory.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience with Canon and respectfully share customer opportunities for improvement with Canon teams as appropriate.
  • Take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
  • May require up to 30% travel to client sites, including overnights (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
  • Certification requirements upon hiring or within the first 6 months: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong customer service skills to generate customer relationships through listening and learning channels such as discovery conversations, issue management and resolution processes, and regular check-ins to ensure resolution is satisfactory.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience with Canon.
  • Respectfully shares customer opportunities for improvement with Canon teams as appropriate.
