Technology Operations Leader

We are seeking a talented and seasoned Technology Operations Leader to become a vital part of our innovative IT team. This position is crucial for ensuring the effective functioning, improvement, and administration of our essential SaaS business applications and technological framework.

The Technology Operations Leader will be accountable for managing the lifecycle of our business applications, ensuring they fulfill the operational and strategic requirements of the organization. This encompasses overseeing application acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities, extensive technical knowledge, and a successful history of managing intricate IT projects and teams. A solid background in IT management, a fervor for technology, and a proven history of implementing and sustaining secure and efficient IT systems and services in the Cloud are essential.

As the Technology Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT operations, enabling our team to deliver exceptional data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, providing direction and support to ensure high performance and career development.
  • Identify SaaS applications for process enhancements that align with overall business objectives and create automation to improve application efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the procurement and architecture of SaaS applications across various departments such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical IT solutions.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and integrate them into the company's IT ecosystem.
  • Oversee network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, performance, and security.
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support the IT needs of various departments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance SaaS application efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Administer G Suite for the organization, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and security settings.
  • Oversee other productivity and collaboration tools such as Slack, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), and 1Password.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management solutions, including Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and SCIM integrations.
  • Develop workflows in Okta to automate identity management processes.
  • Oversee MDM solutions like Kandji or Jamf to manage and secure macOS and iOS devices.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and manage device configurations.
  • Manage IT incidents, conduct regular IT risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of robust experience in the IT domain, with at least 3 years in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, API integrations, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint management.
  • Proven experience with G Suite administration, Okta, MDM solutions (Kandji, Jamf), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • A focus on automating IT and cross-functional processes, with proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
Additional Information:

The base salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Base pay is one component of the Total Package provided to recognize and reward employees for their contributions. This role is eligible for stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
