Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated IT Support Specialist who possesses a strong foundation in user assistance, particularly with Mac systems and cloud technologies. This role is essential in providing direct support to faculty and staff within an academic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive technology support to faculty and staff, ensuring smooth operation of all computing devices.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both Mac and Windows laptops, as well as iPads.
  • Oversee the school's technology helpdesk, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Essential Qualifications
  • Availability to commence work at 8:00 AM on school days.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical problems in an organized manner.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet service level agreements and project timelines.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders for servicing ceiling-mounted projectors.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware and software in a networked environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office installation and support.
  • Experience in setting up and troubleshooting iPads or other Apple iOS devices for at least 2 years.
