San Francisco, California, United States Kreg Therapuetics Full time

Field Operations Specialist

Our objective is to assist healthcare facilities in enhancing the management and outcomes of their most intricate patients.

Kreg's Beds offer a groundbreaking approach to mobilizing complex patients, ensuring they can progress to physical therapy, long-term acute care hospitals, and ultimately return home. Recognizing that each patient is unique, Kreg's provides a diverse range of specialized beds and around-the-clock rental services, enabling healthcare professionals to safely and effectively mobilize these patients. We are a dedicated organization, striving to distinguish ourselves and make Kreg Beds the preferred partner for hospitals aiming to achieve better outcomes for complex cases.

The Field Operations Specialist will report directly to the Account Manager in each region and serve as the primary connection between Kreg Therapeutics and the medical staff at the hospitals we serve. Each Specialist will oversee 2-3 healthcare facilities. The Field Operations Specialist is tasked with promoting product utilization in existing accounts by educating medical personnel and supporting the use of our Vertical Bed technology in intensive care units, as well as our Bariatric beds.

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is accountable for the delivery, maintenance, and retrieval of Kreg Therapeutics' rental medical equipment. FSRs must effectively communicate with Central Dispatch and attentively address customer requirements. FSRs prepare equipment for patient use through thorough maintenance, sanitization, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive significant growth in existing accounts by educating medical staff and promoting the use of our Vertical Bed technology.
  • Inform and advocate for the advantages of our Bariatric bed in current accounts.
  • Encourage product utilization in existing accounts to accelerate adoption and foster growth.
  • Assist with therapy and clinical support for patients and skilled hospital personnel.
  • Maintain and nurture high-quality service standards.
  • Support the Account Manager in conducting demonstrations and evaluations in interested accounts.
  • Assist the local operations team with Bed Fleet Management as necessary.
  • Become proficient in testing, troubleshooting, and operating all Kreg Therapeutics products, aiding clinicians with usage and operational issues.
  • Accurately fulfill daily reporting obligations.
  • Consistently communicate with central dispatch regarding customer orders.
  • Complete orders within the designated timeframe.
  • Engage with hospital staff to deliver optimal customer service through training and education on proper product usage.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to share insights and work together to advance the business.
  • Must be capable of climbing up and down a two-foot step from the truck deck to ground level multiple times daily.
  • Deliver, service, and retrieve medical equipment from healthcare facilities.
  • Meet all competency expectations to operate a 26-foot box truck and adhere to all company safe driving standards.

Why Join Kreg Therapeutics?

  • Our products enable you to make a meaningful impact on patient care as we serve your community to uphold the highest standards of care.
  • You will be closer to the mission, with less corporate jargon and bureaucracy hindering your professional accomplishments.
  • You will take on diverse responsibilities, figuring out how to complete tasks and gaining valuable experience in the process.
  • You will work closely with senior leadership, rather than seeing the CEO only once a year.
  • You will experience a strong sense of camaraderie, as teamwork is integral to our small, family-like culture.
  • You can quickly act on your ideas; if you have a proposal, you can implement it without excessive red tape.
  • You will have opportunities to experiment, with encouragement to test new ideas and approaches.
  • You will feel a sense of ownership in your work.

Benefits Include:

  • Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K & Life Insurance)
  • Reimbursement for travel expenses
  • Kreg phone and laptop provided
  • Paid vacation, personal, and sick time

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a clinical role.
  • Preferred experience as a biomedical technician, field service engineer/technician, or medical equipment technician.
  • A proven ability to persuade clinicians to consider and adopt new ideas, emphasizing innovative patient care practices based on clinical evidence and new technologies.
