Position Summary
The Sales Executive will be instrumental in achieving specific sales targets that contribute to the overall success of the hotel. This role involves actively seeking and securing new business accounts.

Working closely with the Director of Sales, the Sales Executive will focus on meeting the revenue and market share objectives for one or more properties.

The sales focus may differ based on the property assigned (e.g., Leisure, Business Travel, Group, SMERF).

Management-level team members are expected to dedicate sufficient time each workday to fulfill their responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly.


Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in hotel sales is preferred.
- A valid driver's license for the applicable state is necessary.


- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective negotiation, persuasion, and influence with managerial staff, hotel guests, and corporate clients.

- Experience in professional selling techniques is desired, including skills in opening, probing, supporting, and closing.
- Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, is required.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks; strong organizational and presentation skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully achieve assigned sales and revenue goals, along with solicitation call targets.


- Proactively conduct solicitation calls, arrange sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as relevant to the property.

- Foster and expand existing relationships with assigned accounts in Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable.
- Monitor and analyze trends within your market segment.
- Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's established regulations, company standards, sales standards, and metrics.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and departmental policies.
- Maintain a strong presence in the local community and relevant industry organizations.
- Assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.
- Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, along with any other functions required by management.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
