Position Responsibilities

The OEM Sales Executive is tasked with achieving specific targets linked to the overall success of the hotel. This role involves effectively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Collaborating closely with the Director of Sales, the OEM Sales Executive will contribute to meeting the hotel's revenue and market share objectives across one or more properties. The sales focus may differ based on the property assigned, encompassing Leisure, Business Travel, Group, and SMERF segments.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is essential; prior experience in hotel sales is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for negotiation, persuasion, and influencing clients and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with professional selling techniques, including opening, probing, supporting, and closing, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications, is required.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks; strong organizational and presentation skills are essential.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets, along with solicitation call objectives.
  • Proactively engage in solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients, focusing on Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and Groups as relevant.
  • Strengthen existing relationships with assigned accounts in the Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and Groups segments.
  • Analyze and monitor trends within your market segment.
  • Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's established regulations, company standards, and sales metrics.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and policies across relevant departments.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the local community and industry organizations.
  • Participate in special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.
  • Attend required meetings and functions as directed by management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
