Position Overview:
We are in search of a creative and meticulous Senior Event Planning Manager to oversee all facets of event coordination, from initial conception to final execution, ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional experience. The Senior Event Planning Manager serves as a key liaison between clients and hotel sales personnel, providing guidance and oversight during the execution of meetings and banquet functions. This role requires being accessible to clients during events to address issues and propose alternatives to prior arrangements. The manager will proactively engage with group and catering clients, managing logistics related to room blocks, food and beverage services, public meeting spaces, and billing processes. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience
  • 3 years of experience in food and beverage services
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract interpretation abilities
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Capability to lead and motivate the event planning department to achieve and surpass objectives
  • Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional appearance and self-assurance
  • Effective communication skills with the public and fellow team members
  • Strong time management abilities and capacity to perform under pressure
  • Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems
