Role Overview: The HR Operations Specialist is essential in connecting the administrative and strategic elements of the Human Resources department. This role encompasses various administrative and clerical responsibilities associated with HR functions, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to regulations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Oversee Workers' Compensation claims, including documentation and follow-up. Prepare and submit Accident Reports in accordance with regulatory requirements. Assist with annual compliance reporting and documentation. Ensure personnel files are maintained accurately and organized.
  • Daily HR Functions: Respond to HR-related inquiries and emails in a timely and professional manner. Assign tasks to appropriate team members or departments as necessary. Aid in the review and update of the employee handbook, ensuring alignment with current legislation and company policies.
  • Location-Specific HR Coordination: Work collaboratively with site administrators to optimize HR documentation processes. Provide support on HR compliance matters and promote consistency across various locations.
  • Benefits Management: Address routine employee inquiries regarding benefits. Collaborate with benefits providers to guarantee precise and prompt management of employee benefits.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in HR administration, coordination, or assistant roles.
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation procedures and compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with care.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
