Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Systems Engineering Support Specialist. This role is crucial in managing and coordinating engineering activities related to flight clearances and naval systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the management of the Flight Clearance Priority list, ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders.
2. Consolidate inputs and assessments to create a comprehensive resource for technical engineers, facilitating the prioritization of clearance reviews.
3. Act as a liaison to product developers for Interim Flight Clearances (IFC), engaging with engineers to ensure timely progression.
4. Analyze clearance need dates in alignment with established priorities and provide weekly updates to leadership.
5. Maintain and update the IFC tracking spreadsheet, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
6. Support engineering project analysis and procurement planning, providing necessary documentation to the Engineering Leadership Team.
7. Manage access to engineering collaboration tools and assist in the processing of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
8. Facilitate communication between product developers and SMEs to ensure adherence to deadlines and requirements.
9. Coordinate engineering activities, ensuring coverage for major events and meetings.
10. Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for engineering personnel, tracking their transition plans.

Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a SECRET clearance.
- A Master's or advanced degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field is required. A Bachelor's degree with additional relevant experience may be considered.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in an engineering role, with at least three years related to naval systems.
