Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at LMG Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, handling calls, updating demographic information, and managing patient appointments.

This role requires bilingual fluency in Spanish and familiarity with medical terminology. Key responsibilities include screening for program eligibility, scheduling appointments, conducting reminder calls, and providing general information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and update patient demographic information.
  • Screen for program eligibility and gather required information.
  • Schedule patient appointments based on medical need and established guidelines.
  • Perform appointment reminder calls, reschedules, and lab result appointments.
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide relevant information.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three months of medical office or customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) – required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of medical office experience.
  • Experience in community or public health settings.
  • Familiarity with medical practice management software.
