Job Summary

Community Counseling of Bristol County, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master's Level Addictions Specialist to join our PACT team in Brockton. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with a prescriber, psychiatric nurses, vocational specialists, licensed social workers, housing specialists, and a recovery specialist to provide comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, some with co-occurring addictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide substance use assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing support to PACT consumers
  • Facilitate a co-occurring disorder group for PACT consumers
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss consumer progress and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive services to consumers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Licensure is preferred
  • High level of self-motivation and good personal boundaries
  • Firm belief in the principles of hope and recovery from mental illness
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Work Environment

This is an outreach position, and you will work with clients in their homes and in community settings. You will be required to work one 12-8 pm shift per week and every fifth weekend.
