The Hospital-Based Crisis Intervention aims to foster resilience, wellness, and recovery for all individuals served, integrating mental health and substance use disorder principles throughout the service delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct emergency bio/psycho/social assessments and provide care recommendations.
- Perform comprehensive risk evaluations.
- Engage in case consultations with multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist in connecting individuals and families to suitable services across the care continuum.
- Create safety plans and deliver crisis management support to clients and their families.
- Participate in all required meetings, supervision sessions, and training programs.
Required Qualifications and Education
- Candidates should possess a license-eligible Master's degree or be independently licensed as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- Supervision for licensure is available.
- Strong organizational skills and effective verbal, written, and computer skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including the ability to navigate electronic health record systems, audio-visual communication tools (e.g., doxy or Zoom), and familiarity with Microsoft Office for email, document access, and organization.
