Job Summary

Community Counseling of Bristol County, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Masters Level Clinician to join our team as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment) team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with persistent mental illness and co-occurring addictions to increase their self-reliance and reengage in supported employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to create person-centered treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, focusing on vocational strengths, career goals, and symptom management.
  • Foster relationships with local businesses to establish employment opportunities for clients, promoting a continuum of services.
  • Help clients develop the skills and strategies needed to succeed in the workplace, including employment preparedness, job seeking, and job development.
  • Lead clients in activities that promote employment readiness, job seeking, and job development, ensuring progress towards their goals.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure continued progress towards their objectives.
  • Provide vocational-supportive counseling to help clients develop treatment goals and identify supportive services based on their treatment plan.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental illness, locating self-help and support groups to promote overall well-being.
  • Transport and/or accompany clients to appointments using your personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, human services, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with patients who have mental and behavioral health issues and/or substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of vocational counseling, supported employment job placement, individualized job development, networking, and benefits planning.
  • Obtain CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) certification within 6 months of start.
Preferred Requirements
  • Clinical licensure (LICSW, LCSW).
