Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Digital Transformation Officer to lead our digital transformation efforts. This is a critical role that will require a strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in a business context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement digital solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the company's digital vision and long-term goals.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their relevance to our business.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Pilot proof-of-concept projects to explore innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks.
  • Develop architectural blueprints for digital solutions, considering scalability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee the integration of various systems, applications, and data sources.
  • Bridge gaps between legacy systems and modern digital platforms.
  • Champion interoperability standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Collaborate with security teams to address cybersecurity concerns, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the digital field, with at least 5 years of leadership responsibility.
  • Experience delivering a company-wide digital transformation across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing.
  • Thorough understanding of complex engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Operational experience as part of work history.
  • Proven ability to identify, correlate, and implement technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Effectively able to translate technology offerings into the language of the business.
  • Proven ability to formulate strategies, plans, and solutions by connecting differing inputs and applying digital expertise and business acumen.
  • Must be able to articulate business challenges and define a technology-focused path forward.
  • Must understand and be able to correlate technology services and offerings to business outcomes.
  • Must have experience in coordinating a digital strategy with data analytics teams in support of a digital transformation.
  • Must have experience either leading or being part of developing a system/software development lifecycle.
  • Must have an execution-focused mindset, leading with accountability.
  • Must obtain an agile mindset and an openness to adjust their approach and flex when necessary to meet business needs.
  • Experience in navigating complex business landscapes and balancing competing priorities.
  • Proven experience achieving organizational objectives by collaborating with others and leading teams of individuals who are not direct reports.
  • Must possess clear and effective communication skills.
  • Impactful and effective leader with a high degree of emotional intelligence and ability to influence.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to partner effectively across business units to support their digital initiatives while also championing the overall digital strategy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to executive audiences.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $330,800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
