Job Title: Client Services Coordinator

Overview:

The Client Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk functions. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with intakes, authorizations, enrollment, scheduling, and continuity of care functions for new and enrolled clients.
  • Welcome clients and support family and client engagement.
  • Manage the ordered flow of all front desk functions, including data entry and reporting.
  • Verify residency, income, insurance, and ensure proper authorizations are in place prior to service delivery.
  • Collect co-pays as necessary and secure prior and re-authorizations for services.
  • Provide administrative and program support to assigned programs.
  • Ensure the privacy and security of protected health information per HIPAA requirements.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree preferred in Medical Billing Coding, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Medical office experience, preferably in substance abuse and behavioral health, with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Data entry experience with a minimum of 40 wpm and no errors.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and detail-oriented.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid or other insurance benefits and claims processes.
